This week we are configuring the GPU we will be using to complete the remainder of our project. The GPU used in our project is Nvidia Titan Xp (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/titan/titan-xp/). We will develop our code using MATLAB 2018a on the Workstation. GPU Computing technique is used to boost the efficiency for deep learning (CNN). Using Neural Network with GPU for deep learning is a state-of-the-art technique, which is a very popular topic in computer science, especially in Artificial Intelligence. In the following week I will learn much more about Deep Learning and Support Vector Machine (SVM), and thus, we will adopt both techniques in our project to train and test classifiers and compare their performance.
