The team is currently working towards our involvement with the Convolution Nueral Networks. The Convolution Nueral Networks will become a factor once we begin to analyze the blood vessels for symptoms to know which stage our patient is currently at. The blood vessel detection is a critical part of the code mainly because they will be the main focal point when we begin analyzing symptoms and diagnosing the stage of patients. The goal is to use the CNN, but in order for the program to diagnose which stage to categorize the image in, it must first have many samples of the category. Therefore, we will use many different sub-images of the retinal images to give the program more samples of blood vessels to categorize the stages.
